Highlights

Some of My personal favorite pieces.

Scroll through my portfolio to find out more about these paintings!

Emerald Coast
Behavioral Hospital

“Hope for tomorrow begins today.”

ECBH asked me to bring some color to their courtyard renovation and really let me do the rest. I decided on a year round garden of birds of paradise and an emerald swallowtail with a message of hope for patients. Their reactions through this process was one of the best parts of painting it.

Emerald Coast Behavioral Health Hospital provides acute inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services. Specializing in child, adolescent, adult, active duty military, veteran and geriatric psychiatry.

Point Break Arcade - Murals 3-6

LOCATED AT 445 HARRISON AVE. IN DOWNTOWN PANAMA CITY, FL - POINT BREAK ARCADE IS A RETRO MEETS MODERN GAMING AND PINBALL COLLECTION CURATED FOR THE PUBLIC.

These murals were inspired by my shared love of comics and 90s style artwork with the owners. For these murals I combined some of my favorite comic versions of these characters to create my own versions, and even referenced drawings I made in middle school. With heavy black shading to mimic a comic artist’s inking and bright colors on a halftoned background, these gaming cubicles got a major upgrade in only 6 days.

SOme of the first things I taught myself to draw were comic book characters, so getting to bring them to a large scale in my favorite medium was a blast!

FLLUXE ARTS FESTIVAL 2024

FLORIDA LUXE ARTS FESTIVAL - OR FLLUXE - IS HELD ANNUALLY IN DOWNTOWN PANAMA CITY, FLORIDA. THE BAY ARTS ALLIANCE STARTED THE STREET PAINTING WEEKEND IN 2021 AND IT HAS GROWN EVERY YEAR. CHALK ARTISTS, STREET PAINTERS, GRAFFITI ARTISTS, MURALISTS, LOCAL ARTISTS, AND NATIONAL ARTISTS ALL CONVERGE TO CREATE A ONE OF A KIND EVENT.

FOR MY second FLLUXE PIECE I CREATED A 4 FT X 4 FT PAINTING OF Richard THE Flamingo - NAMED By A FRIEND OF MINE WHO said since last year’s pelican was named kevin after him, he should get to name this one. THIS PAINTING WAS DONE LIVE AT THE EVENT ON A PLYWOOD PANEL WITH MY GO TO “NEON” PALETTE OVER ABOUT 8-10 HOURS OF PAINT TIME.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT THIS COLOR PALETTE IS HOW VIBRANT THE PIECE LOOKS using just 3 colors plus black and white.

Little Man Cave Nursery

This mural was painted to celebrate a close friend’s first baby. showing dinosaurs and a volcano in a flat, line-less style - this simple brightly colored and patterned mural even has a hidden character. Well, not that hidden. I hope It will serve as a great bedroom backdrop for several years.

Point Break Arcade - Mural 2

LOCATED AT 445 HARRISON AVE. IN DOWNTOWN PANAMA CITY, FL - POINT BREAK ARCADE IS A RETRO MEETS MODERN GAMING AND PINBALL COLLECTION CURATED FOR THE PUBLIC.

THE GYARADOS MURAL BEGAN AS A passing thought - “WHAT IF WE PAINTED A LIFE SIZED GYARADOS?” AND BEcAME REALITY. CENTERED ON THE STAIRWELL WITH MAGIKARP JUMPING AROUND, THIS MURAL IS A BIT OF NOSTALGIA FOR ORIGINAL 151 POKEMON FANS. FOR 7 YEAR OLD ME - IT WAS A DREAM COME TRUE, AND FOR 27 YEAR OLD ME IT WAS A HUGE CHECK ON MY PERSONAL WISH LIST.

Home Mural Series

This mural series is how I practice different styles, play with techniques, and experiment with  colors. I paint something new every few weeks right over the old mural.

This is my space to explore anything I want and paint content I normally wouldn’t get the chance to create.

I Put this as the first section of my portfolio because it is a growing collection that demonstrates my style and artistic range.

All of these murals are 6 ft x 8 ft and Some  are available in a print series  By Request.

Pen, Paint, Pop! 2023

PEN, PAINT, POP! IS A COMICS AND CARTOONS THEMED ART SHOW HELD AT THE PANAMA CITY CENTER FOR THE ARTS.

THIS PIECE WAS PAINTED TO ADD SOME LARGE SCALE RECURRING ART TO THE SHOW AS WELL AS SERVE AS  FUN AND CREATIVE ADVERTISEMENT.

THIS PIECE WAS PAINTED ON A LARGE PIECE OF INSULATION BOARD AS A LIGHTWEIGHT ALTERNATIVE TO WOOD PANELING. This Art used a mix of the Official branding for the show as well as commic and graffiti style art.

New Orleans Apartment

Located in the French Quarter of New Orleans, “welcome to the Quarter” was painted for a private residence.

This beautiful home is in a historic building originally built in the 1800’s, and is currently undergoing renovations to be turned into apartments and a penthouse.

The design was based on a mix of jazz festival and golden age poster art. References to life in NOLA are the focus of this piece with historical and modern images meeting to create a vibrant work of art that was such a fun time to paint.

Captain’s Table Fish House

Located at 1110 Beck Ave. in St. Andrews Florida, “Local Catch” can be found on the patio of Captain’s Table Restaurant.

This is definitely the most florida mural this Carolina kid has ever done. It features 6 species of fish caught locally in the gulf and served at the restaurant in bright and bold colors.

This mural called for every trick and technique I have learned in 2 years of muraling full time. This mural style can be time consuming and expensive so normally I only practice it on my own walls at home, but it is one of my favorites to share with the public.

Salty Cats of St. Andrews

Located at 1732 Bayview Ave. - Salty cats rescue is a project close to my heart.

Salty Cats serves the community of St. Andrews and surrounding areas by caring for feral cats, rehoming and adopting, as well as spay/neuter and other VETERINARY services.

My favorite thing about this mural is the composition. It is a great example of simplicity at scale in color and design. This mural is inspired by the history of our feline friends in coastal life. i love felix the cat and wanted to give the cats an animated feel with a nautical nod and fabric pattern.

Point Break Arcade - Mural 1

Located at 445 Harrison Ave. in downtown panama City, Fl - point break arcade is a retro meets modern gaming and pinball collection curated for the public.

This mural was my first intended for low light and led lighting and i love how it came out. the owners allowed me the freedom to create whatever i wanted and a pop style comic book panel came immediately to mind.

The bright colors, black lines, and comic styling of this piece  are all what come to mind whn i tell people one of my preferred styles is pop art.

FLLUXE ARTS Festival 2023

Florida Luxe Arts Festival - or FLLUXE - is Held annually in Downtown Panama City, Florida. The Bay Arts Alliance started the street painting weekend in 2021 and it has grown every year. Chalk artists, street painters, graffiti artists, muralists, local artists, and national artists all converge to create a one of a kind event.

For my first flluxe piece i created a 4 ft x 4 ft painting of kevin the pelican - named after a friend of mine (Shown in the last photo) who  said he was tired of pelican art in a coastal town, so i had to make a cool one. This painting was done live at the event on a plywood panel with my go to “neon” palette over about 8-10 hours of paint time.

One of My favorite things about this color palette is how vibrant the piece looks in different lighting and at different angles.

Lavished Ministries

Located at 1701 Tennessee Ave. Suite 200 Lynn haven, FL 32444 -Lavished Ministries Is a resource Program for women in, or transitioning out of, the adult entertainment and commercial sex industries.

Lavished  offers programming, case management, outreach, referral assistance, and most importantly seeks to meet tangible needs in a safe and open atmosphere.

My goal with this mural was to include the aesthetic of the nonprofit that has been established over the years, and capture the beauty in their mission. “DReams begin here” is the catchphrase of thier mentoring program and provided the perfect starting point for this design.

El Weirdo Taco - Pub

ONE OF MY FAVORITE MURALS IS THE ARCADE WALL AT EL WEIRDO TACO PUB - 24 W OAK AVE PANAMA CITY, FL 32401

EL WEIRDO IS UNOFFICIALLY THE LARGEST ART PROJECT IN BAY COUNTY. THE OWNERS GAVE A DOZEN LOCAL ARTISTS CREATIVE CONTROL TO CREATE ANYTHING WE COULD IMAGINE. MY CONTRIBUTION IS THE POP-ART-MEETS-COMIC STYLE WEIRDO CRYPTO WALL FILLED WITH CRYPTIDS IN NEON COLORS. THIS WALL FEATURES 3 RETRO GAMING EMULATORS, AND TOWERS OVER THE BACK CORNER OF THE PUB. THIS MURAL COMBINES SOME OF MY FAVORITE THINGS - VIDEO GAMES, MONSTERS, AND 90S STYLE ART.

VFW POst 2185

My largest Mural to date - over 900 sqare feet - is located at VFW POst 2185 - 2136 Sherman Ave, Panama City, FL 32405.

This Mural was painted Alongside Alex Butler and Ken Manni and was completed in just 9 days. The Design, Like most of my work, was created digitally for client reference. The Mural Consists of 4 major parts - the POW/MIA memorial, a flag with saluting soldiers and a fallen comrade memorial, flander’s field, and a poppy wall.

This Project Displays multiple art styles, varied content, and a cohesive theme that is eye catching and meaningful.

Panama City Fire Station 2 - Cutouts

Before I started painting murals full time, a lot of my artwork was wood cutouts and signs. This project was a fun combination of the two mediums.

Station 2 of the Panama City Fire Department is a training Facility for fire fighters across the state. The station chief wanted to have a mural painted in the rig bay, but the logistics would have been difficult. Instead, we decided to create large scale cutouts - two 4 ft x 4 ft patches and one 4 ft x 8 ft painting of an old fire engine they had a photos of.

Community Health and rehab

Located at Community Health and Rehab - 3611 Transmitter Rd, Panama City, FL 32404.

THese cargo container murals were a collaboration between floriopolis Artists (an arts collective In St. Andrews.) These pieces were created to provide a colorful view for live in residents to see every day. The abstract mural was created on the spot by myself, heather parker, and a few other artists and employees of CH&r. The pollinator mural was designed by me and painted by myself and numerous volunteers to be the backdrop for a local plants pollinator garden.

A New Wave - Panama City

“A New WAve” is The mural located behind panama city city hall - 501 harrison Ave, Panama City FL 32401.

This mural was created in an effort to include city hall in the panama city arts resurgence. I worked with The panama city quality of life department - special thanks to Dr. Kesia Blenn - to design this modern pop art sytle mural. The mural includes color and content references to the city logo. Thanks to Sallie Justice, Jamie Dunn, Victoria Bottorf, and Alex Butler for helping complete this project. This mural is part of the Destination Panama City Mural Trail, and is dedicated to those who embrace change to better our community - artists, community leaders, and nonprofits.

blue Mountain Beach Elevator

Possibly my most unique mural based on location alone, this 3 story painting is in the Sumpton Family Home. The family loves south walton so they wanted me to draw inspiration from the locale and gave me total freedom to create. This first floor mural focuses on the blue lupine flowers that give blue mountain beach its name. The second floor mural provides the owners a beach view through the elevator itself. The third floor painting references the dune lakes of south walton - one of the only places in the world where dune lakes are found. This one of a kind project can be seen through the glass back of the elevator and blends seamlessly as you ascend.

Palm Bay Schools

Before becoming a freelance artist i was an elementary art Teacher at Palm Bay Charter School. WheN i decided to persue art as a career, my friends in education supported me wholeheartedly. Admin at the school has allowed me to create multiple pieces for the campus located at 1104 Balboa Ave, Panama City Fl 32401.

The panther wall is the largest and can be seen from 11th street. “the palm bay way” mural can be seen in the front office lobby.

Administration gave me creative liberty on my very first mural- my art Classroom- and I have used that color palette for every mural on campus.

Chautauqua learn & serve charter school

Chautauqua charter school - located at 1118 Magnolia Ave, Panama City Fl 32401 - is a school serving individuals with significant disabilities.

Heather Parker recruited me to help paint everything on campus from storage sheds, to fences and doors. Working together once a week for about a year, we completed multiple projects and recolored or updated others.

My favorite mural on campus is the astronaut I created as the end panel for a visual story about planet earth.

beck Ave. Micro Art

Beck Avenue is the heart of st. Andrews and has art all over! Some pieces are large, and others are hidden gems. The micro art series is sponsored by local arts collective, floriopolis.

“Three Little Birds” features 3 nuthatchers under a window, and several butterflies can be found near one of the butterfly gardens.

AAPI Cultural FEstival 2022

Live Murals are a fantastic way to showcase local art and provide entertainment during a festival or other event.

“Dancing Koi” was painted in 2022 over 8 hours on a 4 ft by 4 ft wooden panel during the Asian American and Pacific Islander festival in Mckenzie Park in Downtown Panama City. The piece is now part of a private collection.

A Day at the Creek

Another mural on the destination panama City mural trail - “a day at the creek” can be found on the side of Sunjammers - 1129 Beck ave, Panama City Fl, 32401.

This Mural was a collaboration between myself, heather parker, and a handful of floriopolis volunteers to create the largest mural in st. andrews.

Designed by heather’s daughter Megan, the mural features references to the sunjammers logo, local wildlife, and dozens of hidden things that you have to look for in person.

Swimming with sharks

Black, White, and Blue - this mural is a great example of how a limited palette can create a striking piece of art.

Created for the horsley family as the focal point of their son’s bedroom, this painting spans the largest wall in the room and features his favorite animal - sharks of several species.

My Favorite thing about this piece is the comic book effect of thick shapes and details with limited colors to make it pop.

The Sweat Shak

The sweat shak logo was one of the first huge murals I ever painted and the first time i had to use scaffolding for a project.

created with the help of Alex Butler and the owners of the sweat shak, the logo spans the wall as you walk into the gym and on the back wall you will see a sunset shak.
